I use oven mitts whenever I take something out of the microwave. If I have a bowl of soup or chili in there, I use an oven mitt to get it out.

No, I do not. But I do grab it with a paper towel or wait for it to cool off first.

I use elbow length welding gloves and a face shield, sometimes calipers.

Depends what you're 'cooking' in there.

Depends on if its something that will be too hot to touch...like if its something like soup or chili, or some prepackaged frozon meals trays they come in will be too hot to touch and I may need an oven mitt. But If I am just heating a cup of tea or a couple slices of pizza or something then I don't usually need one.

i mostly use microwave to quick stuff, so it's very rare that it's too hot that i need to use oven mitts. but i use when needed.

I do if it's in a normal bowl, but if it's in a microwave one, I don't need to because the handle doesn't really get hot.

If it's something on a plate, I usually take it out of the microwave with the edges of my fingers or hands, where it won't hurt as much, and I try to be fast.

Not usually. If I am heating up water, then I probably would.

I have a foolproof method for taking stuff out of the microwave. And it usually goes a little something like this........

"OOOH! AAAH! OH F**CK! YOW! I'VE GOTTA PUT IT DOWN, I'VE GOTTA PUT IT DOWN! s**t!.......AAAAH!"

Works like a charm.

Would love to know what science experiment you are cooking up? "Are you building an interocitor?"

I either use oven mitts or a cloth towel.

I always grab things in there with my hands. The table is rite across from the microwave so all I really have to do is grab it & turn around before I can put it down. Most things aren't too hot to touch if I grab it in the rite spot & if it is I'll just nearly burn my hands.

Yeah because it's usually really hot.

My microwave heats my food and beverages, but not the plates or mugs they're contained in. The exception are my ceramic bowls, so I don't use them much.
