I feel quite weird, every guy who was kind of my friend during high school came out as gay in recent years – most of them used to have girlfriends during that time. I know some straight guys of course but I mean the guys I had any kind of bond with, talked and kept contact after school ends. And actually, at university I don't talk with any guy who isn't gay. I don't know why?

I think many of them may actually be bisexual but identify as gay due to there now being, unfortunately, a stigma against being bi.

Lucky you
Why does it matter? Maybe you just get on better with gay dudes. Nothing wrong with that.

I heard of a study that said lots of bi guys are really gay & say their bi because there's less stigma for that. It wasn't a recent study thou so maybe things have changed.

Perhaps the OP gets along better with them because they don't conform to gender stereotypes. Some Aspies(like me) have a hard time conforming to those stereotypes. It may also be that gays have a harder time fitting in to society & relate better to people who don't fit in as well like lots of us Aspies(including me). This is all speculation thou.

it doesn't really matter to me, I actually just noticed it because the few guys I used to think that are straight came out recently so it's just a pattern. I'm happy for them with they're happy being gay (or bi).

The only thing that annoys me is that it reforce on how straight guys around me seems difficult to deal with, so less to none potential partners :D
