Do food and drinks near a trash can bother you?

Do you not like eating or drinking when close to a trash can? I don't want to sit near the trash can in a restaurant.

What bothers me is when people just dump their food and drink on the ground and don't even use the trash can. That makes me sick.

Not unless the trash can smells, although any sort of odor from it at all, no matter how slight, will put me off.

It's off putting if it smells (even slightly) or if I see something yucky in it.

I wouldn't like to sit near a trash bin in a diner.
