my fav word, not because of what it means, but because of what it sounds like, is "assassin". I also like the word "grim" and the word "halibut" , this one because it sounds funny. what r your fav words?

Qualitative- sounds great and I use it at least five times more than the average person should.
Borcht- fun to say, fun to eat.
Chlorofluorocarbon- fun to say, not fun to eat.

Schadenfreude. It's German and it means taking pleasure from someone else's pain. As an added bonus it rolls off the tongue. Like wiping your ass with silk.

My favourite word is "clopen".

It is only ever used in the context of a branch of mathematics called topology. In topology, there are "open sets" and "closed sets". If a set is both open and closed, then it is called "clopen".

I like this word because it is a strange combination of (1.) ridiculous, (2.) obscure, (3.) paradoxical, and (4.) useful.

EDIT: Apparently, I was wrong! There are a few other uses for this word, although they are probably at the level of in-jokes. To "clopen" can apparently mean to close up shop one day and then be there for the opening the next day. Apparently, "clopen" is also a buzzword used to describe the distribution model of some Android software (as in, "clopen-source").

My favorites words are blizzard, rainstorm, forest, jewel, sweet, raven and mystery. (There are more words I like but I don't want my reply to be too long). I like them mostly because of how I visualize the words. (Sweet reminds me of candy, rainstorms are peaceful to me (which might be odd but it the rain sounds nice to me), etc.)

My fav word is holynecrobump!

I think I use the word fruition more than the average person.

My favourite word is prismatic. I like it because it can mean varied and brilliant, which I like to see the world as. It also relates to rainbows, which I like. Other words I like are retrospect, quantum, rhapsody and precarious.

Araucana—a type of chicken with funny tufts of feathers. It looks kind of like Einstein

Pylon is a great word.
Anything resembling a pylon is a pylon to me, simply to say the word "pylon".
