What's holding up his glasses? Certainly not his ears.

He also wears headphones on his head instead of on his ears.
Must be a special bone conduction hearing ability specific to aardvarks.

Ever since I was a kid I'd look at cartoon "humanized" animals that wore glasses and wondered how they stay on when their ears are on top of their head, like cats or rabbits. Or even Mickey Mouse when he wears sunglasses.

It's just another one of those great cartoon mysteries, like Donald Duck not wearing any pants yet he puts a towel around his waist when he gets out of the shower, or Wile E. Coyote being able to stay in mid-air until he looks down, or turtles always wearing those little derby hats.

You mean Arthur the Aardvark? Good question, I never even thought of that. . .

Maybe his eye doctor is the same doc Cartman had on the Succubus ep of South Park. Cartman said he would take the glasses off as soon as he left & the doc said "that is why we have the stapler" or something like that & he stapled the glasses on.

I know this might sound crazy, but I think maybe they're drawn or painted on. 8O

You know, I was going to say something similar but then I remembered that he has taken them off before and stepped on them.
