I couldn't find a picture of crystal lager but it is definatly my favourite lager alongside Diamond; the other lager that Holts do. They are the most refreshing and least chemical tasting lagers I have ever had the pleasure to sample. On top of that, I have never had a bad experience in a Holts pub; they are cheap and alongside the lager, they have a great range of bitters and milds.
Although one of the pictures is a bottled beer, I only really like beer on draught although I will drink lager out of a can if I am at home. I also like a lot of real ales and stuff from microbreweries in the Lake District but they don't really have any of that kind of stuff in the pubs I go to so I don't know them by name and don't get to drink them often. There is one pub in Manchester city centre that has a couple of decent ales on tap but they change it around a lot and normally they just have Speckled Hen and Theakstons Old Peculiar so I go for the Speckled Hen. I sometimes go to a decent offy that has a lot of different beers but I never really enjoy them out of bottles and cans as much as when they are on draught.
