Hi,

I'm wondering if it would be inappropriate to start a GoFundMe to get money to buy a ASIC cryptocurrency miner, for Scrypt, to pay for college. Reason being, I want to mine LiteCoin, and I figure, that, in addition to some of my grants, I won't need to take any more loans (currently, I get a Pell grant and some scholarly grants). I'm not sure if this would be too bizarre to ask for on GoFundMe, since most people go on there to ask for money per school year as opposed to an investment to last them throughout college. In addition, I have no idea which section I would submit this under on GoFundMe.

Thanks for any assistance.

P.S.
I've done the research and calculations, and know which hardware I'm after. Also, I've looked into scholarships -- I will have a cybersecurity scholarship for when I get my master's degree, just not for my bachelor's. Also, I used to work full time (and often working over time, while going to school full time -- needless to say, my grades were bad that semester) and part time, but my curriculum has become too rigorous at this point.

No that would be a terrible idea.

So it would be inappropriate to be on GoFundMe? I see people go on there asking for money for college tuition, but that's a very short-term payment/investment, whereas with litecoin mining and other Scrypt-based currencies, which gives me flexibility, I'd make enough to make all financial ends meet.
