I had one today.

Someone told a joke, but I didn't realise that it was a joke so I took it seriously and replied as such. Then, someone else replied "Well done" sarcastically, and for a moment I was confused as to why they seemed sarcastic. I wondered if I was perhaps reading the conversation wrong, and maybe they weren't being sarcastic, but then I realised the joke, so I responded "Oh, I get it now, at first I didn't see it but yeah, haha...."

Well, if you'll excuse me I have to go hide from the World in shame for a bit.

Just smile about it.....that's all you can do.

I have moments like that all the time.
