Is it strange I like dark TV shows?

Its too stressful for me to watch lighthearted things as I find it difficult to understand some types of humour and most things don't hold my attention.
I like shows such as,
The sinner,
Marvel's the punisher,
Gotham,
Homeland.
People say don't you like any comedy or drama shows and I feel odd.

No, it is not strange you like dark TV shows. Everyone has a preference.

If it was strange those TV shows wouldn't exist, or be as popular as they are.
