Aw my gawd, it's come around quick.

No wonder you get fed up with it.

I'll have to try some of that soup. That price sounds very cheap for a place like Sainsbury's. Is it on special offer?

I've noticed that there are a few parallels between Cockney and German culture. The obvious ones are accordions, chimney sweepers and beer gardens.

No that's it's regular price (we'll see for how long) they are a new range to the shop in my town. The pea and ham

is nice too and I got the lentil and red pepper one yesterday but haven't tried it yet.

I do like a nice lentil and bacon soup or pea and ham.

Morrisons do a nice healthy range and in that array is a chick pea and spinach soup which is tastier than it sounds.

Asda was disappointing again this week as it was out of stock with some items when I ordered my shop. C- see me.

Tescos may be getting some of my custom soon if this continues.

I love pea and ham soup. I simply love peas.

I've always rated Baxter's Pea & Ham soup as the best. It sells for around £1.10 per 400g tin at the major supermarkets, but you can get a slightly smaller tin (380g) for 65p at Home Bargains and at B & M Bargain Stores. Not sure whether these shops have a presence in all parts of the country - probably not.

Baxter's pea and ham soup is too bitty for me.
The Heinz one is much better imo.

^ that sounds sublime.

Is Wye pronounced Why, or does it have one of those tricky pronounciations, like Greenwich?

it's pronounced the same as 'why'. Ross-on-Wye is where I am going tomorrow. Apologies if you are UK based and know this anyway but we have quite a few places with x-on-x' as the place name. The 'on' is to show that it is based around a river and the name after the word 'on' is the name of the river.

11:00am start then we have the canoe until 6:00pm if we want.

tomorrow is also my birthday and my wife asked me what I wanted to do, suggesting any number of busy places to go. I have decided I want us to go for a long walk through the woodland and countryside near home with the dog, stopping for some cakebased lunch somewhere before a slow stroll home.

very much looking forward to the next couple of days!

I've finished for the day, no more cleaning. If I only do the absolute necessary I'll get what's left done in two hours,

so I'm leaving it till the morning. She'll be here at 9.30 and my alarm clock is set for 7.20. The only problem is I

don't really function until I've had a least 4 cups of tea, so it's going to be tight. I hope my green bin doesn't blow

over in the night, it's crammed with my latest collection of toilet roll middles.
