Tem is here! how you doin?

I'm about 30 squid a month over the cut off for help for NHS prescriptions and I've had four prescriptions in

the last year since I've been in this job and I ended up going private for my physio that the doctor said I should

have cus he sent me to an inhouse physio who did not understand me (literally, and my accent extremely mild).

Still none of the prescriptions were repeats, and luckily I'm stingy as ought so I'll manage to eak through and this

physio is really nice and after the first 6 appointments the doctors are now paying for this one so I won't need to

pay any more. I don't like to dip into my savings but if I have to, there's a bit there (what with the being stingy :D ).

I bought three loves of my favourite Taste The Dif bread today and I've stuck them in my Dad's freezer 30p each,

bargain!

My peas say hello back.

They are enjoying the sunshine.

They came back this year without me planting them out so they must enjoy it here.

That's my kind of bargain.

Sorry you can't get hc2.

I can be overly stingy and have to put myself in check sometimes.

(the house needs quite a few jobs doing and it all cost mega wonga)

^Occasionally I even budget to encourage me to spend more on certain things, like an appearance budget so I don't

keep putting off getting my hair cut or buying hair dye, or a health budget so I don't put off dental checks ect but

between being a saver and a putteroffer it doesn't work.

Nice to have you with us for a bit. Is your Mum with you permanently?

^ :D That sounds like I think she follows you to the toilet, and sleeps on the end of your bed like Queen Victoria.

I meant is she living with you permanently?

I’ve been to Greater London and places relatively nearby—like Oxford and Cambridge.

Canterbury

Dover, Brighton, Bath.

Amesbury, Salisbury Plain (Stonehenge).

Manchester, Liverpool.

Passed through Newcastle on my way to Edinburgh.

I’ve never driven there, though. I want to—but my wife doesn’t feel safe in the car with me there.

I’ll have to see Walter’s World.

Did anyone else like Goodnight Sweetheart? It was one of my favourite shows as a kid (yes I didn't get all the jokes) because I was obsessed with World War 2. Then as a teenager because it was comfortable, it was on Gold and I finally got all the jokes.

My Dad really liked it and I can recall quite a bit so I must have watched a fair amount :)

Yes, it was a very clever idea! Me and a friend joke whenever we talk about time or time travel for any reason that "I'm /you're like a young Gary sparrow"! They actually made an episode a few years back again, if you saw it?

Do you mean "Goodnight Sweetheart" by the Spaniels, from 1953?

I have a feeling that this is the show referred to:

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0106014/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

Never watched it myself, think I'd probably find it too 'modern'.
