I grew up with CCR constantly on the radio. Very pleasant stuff.

Good classic country-flavored rock.

My grandad does, but folk rock isn't really my thing. They do have some good songs though.

They didn't do folk rock. It's more like the antecedent of "Southern Rock." Sort of like "Country Rock," too.

Folk Rock is Simon and Garfunkel, the Byrds, Bob Dylan from about 1964 to 1966.
