Does anyone besides me like this series? It's a line of dolls, online cartoons, and other things that revolve around the lives of high school students who are the offspring of famous monsters.

I've always thought they were kind of cool ever since I started seeing the dolls in stores a couple of years ago, but back then I worried it was "too childish" for me.

Well since then I have learned to embrace my inner child, so I recently began to watch the online episodes. My only regret is that I didn't start watching it sooner, because I absolutely love it! I would like to start collecting the dolls the next time I get some extra money.

My favorites are Draculaura (because I like vampires and the color pink), Clawdeen (because I used to be obsessed with wolves when I was a child) and Ghoulia (because she makes me laugh). How about you?

I think you and my sister would get along nicely. I'm not really into Monster High stuff, but she's all over it.

Clawdeen is my fav because she is a werwolfe which are better then vampires.

Monster High is one of my most guilty of pleasures. I have dolls of nearly all the characters. I think my favorite character is Draculaura. I now have dolls of her father and little sister. I also have all the siblings in Clawdeen's family (so far), including her cute little wolf brother and sisters. Just one question: Why do werecats like Catty Noir or Toralei Stripe still have cat noses and tails but the werewolves lose their tails and wolf noses by the time they're teenagers?

I once read that when Skelita Carvis first came out as a doll people actually said girls would become anorexic because of her. Yeah, because so many girls want to look like a literal skeleton. I guess we shouldn't have skeleton decorations at Halloween or the Day of The Dead either, and Skelita is clearly inspired by the latter holiday in Mexico, or "Hexico", as it's called in the monsters' world. I think she's become more accepted now, though.

Ill bet they would never have come up with such dolls back when I was a kid in the 80's. There was enough controversy about Barbie, and people would be all like "Girls don't like monsters, they're supposed to be scared of them and think they're gross and hideous, only boys like them". Yes, I understand that My Pet Monster was a doll, but it was acceptable for boys to play with him because he was a big, ugly monster. Give me a break.

But it looks like the MH series is being brought to an end. The new dolls don't have the fully jointed limbs or detailed outfits of the original ones, and are a lot cheaper.

Which one is the green one. I like her.

I don't know much about the characters or the series, but I really love the style of the dolls and I wish I had the money and space to collect them. I think the mermaid girl is probably my favorite, I don't know her name. I think they all are beautiful though.
