I have 2 of these. I am too uncoordinated to play them.

I used to own a Bop It that I bought one time at a flea market. It was originally long and straight, and I learned that if I sat with my knees apart and underneath the toy while holding it on each end, I could play it really well because I only needed my hand for twisting or pulling it.

The way the voice went "OWWW!!" whenever you messed up was kind of annoying and creepy. :)

I hate toys that make noises like that when you mess up. It's really creepy.

^ Like that Simon game. The way it made that electronic "razz" sound. And it always started off incredibly easy but then the pattern would get so long and complicated you'd always lose.

I literally bought one of these yesterday, and now there's a thread here about them!

Spooky.

The Operation game was the worst! That noise really gave me (and everyone else who heard it) a giant headache!

When my nieces were still little my brother got them the Operation game for Christmas, but as soon as they heard Cavity Sam buzz they refused to go near it. My brother and I tried to show them the game doesn't hurt you or anything but they were very sensitive kids who got traumatized easily. My brother and I ended up playing it ourselves and found it pretty hard. The little plastic pieces would slide around under the holes when you tried to pick them out. I had fun playing surgeon, but told my brother it was hard to believe the game was rated 6 and up.

That sounds like a good thing to do to a rapist.

I once had the pc game of Operation and it was pretty fun. You had all kinds of patients like monsters and aliens and dinosaurs and animals and wacky humans. The game actually came from a cereal box.

This sounds more appropriate for the adult forum, but I envisioned a different sort of "toy" when I saw this thread title.
