What position do you sleep in, I'd be interested to find out.
I sleep on my side sometimes with a extra pillow for support.

Useta sleep on my front, with head turned to the side. Now I am old, and I sleep on my back, propped up a bit, which keeps my asthma from giving me pneumonia, honest to God, don't ask. Plus I elevate my feet. It's actually very cozy, kind of like being in a hammock but with no worries about tipping out. And the cats have no problem finding places to snuggle next to me. :-)

Around 40 years ago I bought a water bed and have used it ever since. It is warm and conforms to my body. I lay down and within 20 minutes I am sound asleep.

I've had the same sleep position since I was a child. I'm a stomach/side sleeper. I keep my right leg extended straight with my foot to the side. My left leg is bent to where my left foot rests near my right knee. This elevates the left side of my body a bit off the mattress. I started that when I was a child because I did NOT like the sensation of feeling every beat of my heart against the mattress if I slept completely on my stomach. It creeped me out. My arms are under my pillow. I also started stomach sleeping as a child because I felt laying on my back was a more vulnerable position with my throat and chest exposed.

The rare occasion I fall asleep on my back I snore and get elbowed by my wife....

I'm a side sleeper since I was a child. It seems to be very common in my family. I always turn to my right side. Otherwise I couldn't sleep.

On my side
shoved as tightly
as I can
against the wall.

Two weeks ago
I got a weighted blanket.
Now I can sleep
thru the night.

That hadn't happened
in years.

I usually wake up belly down or on my side, facing to my right, legs curled up and my right arm up over my head. I generally can't get to sleep lying on my back, and find it very hard to get comfortable when I go to bed, in part because of Restless Leg Syndrome, which drives me nuts. In the morning, the way that my bedding is(n't) arranged makes it look like I was battling all night with a duvet and pillows that come alive in the night.

That is sweet, I'm hopefully getting my own cat soon, I prefer the company of animals :)

Ahh no, hope she managed to get back to sleep.
Funny I recently fell asleep on my back and ended up choking so that's no good.

I've always wondered if you have to replace the water in water beds, I sleep with a heated blanket under the sheet in winter, helps arthritis and its cosy.

I mostly sleep on my sides, sometimes in a fetal position usually when it's cold, or with my back on the bed whichever feels more comfortable.

I used to sleep on my stomach but I started falling asleep on my back when I go to bed for the night but I wake up on my stomach. I still tend to go fall asleep on my stomach if I'm just planing to take nap for a few hours. I only sleep on my side if I'm holding my girlfriend which is the way I sleep best but I cant do it too often cuz she has pain due to fibromyalgia.

I add a conditioner to the water when I fill the waterbed. So generally I do not replace the water. The mattress seems to wear out after about 20 years and they are getting more difficult to find replacements for the bed.

I sleep on my right side with my legs straight with my giant plush Om Nom nearby. My Sweet Pea helps me to get through the night.
