What's Not to Love about 4th of July

Crowds of tourists, random loud explosions, police in swat gear, potential fire danger that keeps me up worrying all night, people giving themselves the excuse to be drunk and disorderly, not being invited to the bbqs that everyone else seems to be having fun at. Anyone else in the US have a more pleasant take on the day?

Lol. If I didn't have cats I would hide myself somewhere in the mountains, but they are in the same state as me and I don't want to leave them to suffer alone.

I used to really like 4th of July, eating potato salad, hamburgers, hotdogs, beans, homemade ice cream, now I’m hungry. But it can be boring hanging out with your family.

What I hate is that a bunch of hateful morons go on & on about American pride & how anyone who doesn't feel the same way needs to git.

Oh yeah, that's another one. I wonder how my native american ancestors would feel about "american pride."

That's the thing that I also hate. Those people are also chalk full of hate. They're also usually young, white and they don't have accents.
