I've been on a small one, and I hated it. I'm a scaredy-cat.

A few times when I was much younger. It didn't frighten me, but the huge amount of sensory input in such a short amount of time just left me feeling a bit dazed and not really sure what to make of the experience - a bit of an anti-climax after all the waiting around to get on the thing.

I'm a wimp with a lot of things, but not rollercoasters. I love really high ones because you can look over at the view below, it's wonderful. Sometimes the speed stops my breathing and I think I'm going to pass out. But I love going upside down.

The only scary thing I find about rollercoasters is feeling sick afterwards. I do take pills for it, but it's hunger that causes the nausea, but I have been advised not to eat between going on intense rides. The only pills that really make me feel well even when hungry are the drowsy ones. I hate motion sickness, I don't know why it has to cause vomiting for.

The large one at Belle Vue in Manchester during the 1970s, and a smaller one in Brighton 18 years ago. Found it a mixture of exciting and nerve-racking. The bit where it makes a tight turn at the top is scary. I could never go on one of those 'corkscrew' type things where you travel upside down.

Roller coasters don't make me sick----but Ferris wheels do.

Of course I've been on roller coasters. It's been a while though. Last time must have been when I was in junior high.

I always loved roller coasters. Those delicious drops when one got over the top, and looping. It was such a great feeling!

I never have & have NO desire to. I used to get motion sickness fairly often when I was a kid. I kind of outgrew it but I still feel queasy sometimes when riding fast on hills or really bumpy roads.

No. I always used to want to go on one, but no one would go on one with me.

I'm phobic of roller coasters. Unless I get looped up on xanax. Then I can't get enough of them. I've ridden all the ones at Magic Mountain in California.

Here's the world-famous 'Bobs' rollercoaster at Belle Vue, Manchester. It was dismantled and scrapped in the early 1970s , for safety reasons, I think.

I thought I'd been on the Bobs, but was mistaken. It was the altogether less formidable Water Chute, which is briefly visible at around the 55 second mark in this clip:

Another wonderful Belle Vue clip:

I've been on a couple, but I'm not really a fan.

Been in a few, and I like it.

I wanna ride another one someday.
Oddly enough, fast and bumpy rides don't make me sick. But steady but rocky ones likely would.

Yes, I've been on both a roller coaster and a Ferris wheel.

You know what's fun? Being on a Ferris wheel with a grandpa who knows you have a fear of heights and when it stops at the highest point violently starts swinging the cabin like a maniac, laughing like a lunatic. Me laying on the bottom, crying from pure terror, while the cabin was almost flipping. I was 6 or 7.

His reasoning was to rid me of my fears...

People that do that are insane!
