A chilli?

I don't think I understand the question

Is spicy chilli the name of a chilli dish?

Not chilli per se, but I have a recipe for some killer bolognese that contains a decent helping of chilli. You'll need a slow cooker, though.

I just add hot sauce to it. And tortilla chips.

Cook ground beef, chopped onion and bell pepper till browned and onions and peppers are soft ,add cumin, chili powder, garlic diced or powdered to taste, add a can of diced tomatoes and a can of pinto beans,or red beans, or kidney beans. If you want it spicy use Rotel instead of plain canned tomatoes if you have it.Or chopped jalepeno.Add broth or water for the consistency you desire. Most like it thick.Top with grated sharp cheddar and a few saltine crackers.
It’s usually better the next day after the flavor meld.Freezes good if you have extra.
Pairs well with cornbread and an ice cold beer.

Have you got proportion sizes for this?

Lol I usually just toss it in by eye.Use a pound of ground beef you can adjust the seasoning to taste.Start with a tablespoon of spices and adjust to what you like. One big onion and a whole bell pepper chopped.I like mine hot so I also add cayenne but that might be too much if you are a chili virgin. All other canned items just go with a regular sized can.Everyones chili recipe varies and some are very secretive about it.One person adds a spoonful of cocoa powder, haven’t tied that yet.
It’s pretty much fool proof. You don’t have to add tomatoes if you don’t like them, some don’t.
In Texas they make armadillo chili,I’ll pass on that.
