I'm sorry to hear you broke your ankle. Do you require surgery?

Ouch! Get well soon. Hope you are ok at the hospital (I know I find it a bit stressful to be in hospital).

I'm sorry to hear that, Kitty. I recently broke an ankle too. Something like this is hard for an autistic person because it interferes with all your routines. Hang in there and follow the doctor's orders so you heal properly.

I wish you a speedy recovery.

Have they kept you overnight in the hospital?

I broke my ankle yesterday, I was in the kitchen reheating my coffee & lost my balance, I fell down, I saw my ankle was swollen like a balloon, my ankle & foot were turned, it was hard getting off the floor. I got on my couch, after awhile, I called my neighbor, he & his wife came over, I went in the ambulance to the hospital. I found out today I need surgery :x

I hope the surgery goes smoothly and that you recover quickly.

Make sure you get help with things like home care, meals and groceries, rides to the doctor's office.

I hope you feel better soon. Try to distract yourself with any little thing you can still do, like watch t.v. or play computer or video games.
