Hello everyone. I posted a few things before my hiatus from WP (I stay logged in in case I forget my password) and noticed that either
1. Not too many people post here anymore
Or
2. I did something wrong

These boards aren't nearly as active or populated as they used to be. The reason for this is called the «attrition-rate» that happens with any particular community-model. Just like with businesses, unless the advertising and retention efforts are constant, the activeness eventually slows down...

I sort of disagree, in a sense.

I would say there is much dynamism here in WP---and plenty of controversy. Plenty of smarts. And plenty of laughs.

I would say the quantity is less, but the quality is about the same.

Forums are getting less activity in general due to social media being more popular. Also this site has been having LOTS of glitches for a long time now which is also causing members to leave.

I still find WP to be quite an active Forum. And I'm not just advertising for WP.

What gets me pissed....is when the Cloudcrap thing happens.

Yeah. It does seemed to have declined in the last two or three years. I guess everyone is on twitter now. Or whatever.
