I don't.

It is not that I despise them but

I do not relate at all to hippie free love experiments gone wrong which is what a lot of their music was about.

They are sooooooo overplayed. Soft rock get really boring when overplayed. If I never have to hear a song from the "Rumours" album again I will be a happy man.

I do like the way the song "Tusk" sounds.

I like their song "chain", (I think it's called).
The others don't thrill me.

I guess they're alright, but their peak days are long passed.

And if the "Top 40" radio stations hadn't played their music so often, I might actually look forward to hearing their music today. As it is ... meh ...

I don't like all their music but I did like Tango In The Night album. My favourite songs are,

(Seven Wonders)

They did some good stuff and some bad stuff. I do like them though.

That song has always reminded me of a tribal dance ceremony.

The only song of there's I've listen to is Dreams and I really like it. It's one of my Mom's favorite songs and that's the only reason I even know about it.

And say what you will about hippies at least they really cared about things and made an effort to change the world unlike the greedy yuppies of the 80's or those annoying hipsters we have nowadays.

I like a bunch of their songs.

From what I've heard about Rumors, it was done when there was a ton of internal conflict between the band members. There was a ton of studio work done to make the music worthy of the great vocals.

The massive, massive popular success of the album released in 1977 is theorized to be because the baby boomer audience themselves were going through similar consequences from the free love/open relationships/if it feels good do it attitudes from the previous decade. The 60s hippies were now nearing or at age 30 so what was fun was not so much anymore. I turned 20 that year too young for the whole 1960s shebang. I was not mellowing out so soft rock was not relatable and as an autistic the relationship stuff was not either. I would get into the whole 80’s alt/New wave a few years later as a rebellion against the ubiquitous post hippie post counterculture things going on at the time.

I like Lindsey Buckingham's guitar playing and I like the song Never Going Back Again and Landslide and a few others.

I was always perplexed by the album cover for Rumours as it seemed to be an homage to large testicles .

I thought the same thing.
