What in the world is neurasthenia? And is traditional medicine (eg ayurveda/chinese traditional) or Western medicine more effective?

Essentially, it’s the depletion of “nervous energy”. It’s also called “Nervous Exhaustion”.

I’ve found that solitary camping trips to the mountains do wonders for restoring my “nervous energy”.

It is a term which was much used in the 19th century, but is rarely used today.
