I am. A moderate cup of even soda is like rocket fuel and makes me very active and euphoric. A strong cup of coffee is dangerous for me, because it gives me heart palpitations.

What about you?

I am not particularly, I can drink three cans of Mountain Dew (even higher caffeine content than cola) and not have much effect (except for relieving the headache and tiredness I get if I have no caffeine). I do have to cut off caffeine at 3-4 in the afternoon, though, or I can't sleep. Never had more than a little sip of coffee because it tastes awful to me, so I don't know how a cup of coffee would affect me.

I was always very sensitive to caffeine, just all the women in my family. No one could ever drink coffee or caffeinated drinks like Coke without getting really sick. My auntie passes out from caffeine.

I started drinking coffee about ten years ago and built myself up to where I could have one per day. Then this year I gave it up for Lent in February and I haven't had one since. I feel so much better without it.

For some reason tea doesn't bother me even though it's said to have more caffeine than coffee.

No I'm not sensitive to caffeine. I rather wish I was. If I drink a cup of coffee, I feel perky for maybe 15 minutes. Then it goes away. I used to drink a lot of coffee and the more I drank the more tired it made me. I could drink numerous cups of strong coffee and then go to sleep shortly after without problems. It makes me wonder if I do have ADHD since coffee is a stimulant and coffee and tea seem to calm me and improve my well being rather than the opposite.

Excessive caffeine does raise my blood pressure and in large amounts does give me palpitations and chest pain. I found this out after realizing that I was drinking around 12 cups of tea per day and thought I had heart problems. I had a fully battery of heart testing done last year and thankfully found out it was the excessive caffeine. Now I only have one cup of coffee per day. The problem is my body always wants more. Even at a single cup of coffee, I'm still a longtime caffeine addict.

If I recall correctly tea does have more caffeine than coffee by weight, but tea has less caffeine than coffee per cup. A typical measure of tea is one teaspoon per cup whereas coffee is commonly two Tablespoons per cup. I used to use one Tablespoon of black tea for my morning cup of tea and then another strong cup like that in the evening while drinking about six cups during the day. That's a lot of caffeine!

In my case... I don't really know.

I get mixed results; sometimes it is as more or less as expected in consuming caffeine, sometimes it's the opposite effect, sometimes just nothing.

It varies too much;
How much caffeine within certain amount of time, what is also mixed with caffeine, what I had consumed before and consuming with caffeine, my stress and hormonal levels, my mood, my body's biological clock at the moment...
