Initially took this to be a bit of a wind-up, and the response was correspondingly of a somewhat knee-jerk, throwaway nature.

On reflection, I'd like to say I've found your posts in general to be insightful, informative and entertaining among other things. Like ASPartOfMe below, I salute your achievement of 30,000 posts, but can well appreciate that you may have a number of reasons for taking a break, whether temporary or permanent. Still like to think it's far from impossible that we'll see you again here some time though...
