I was watching a random Youtube video of a show I'd never seen before called Juke Box Jury. It was from 1979 and consisted of a panel of noted people listening to contemporary music of the day and predicting whether said songs would be a "Hit" or a "Miss"

The panel of the episode I watched consisted of: Johnny Rotten, Elaine Paige, Alan Freeman and Joan Collins.

I had never heard of nor had I seen Alan Freeman before so I'm unfamiliar with him. I wondered based on his facial appearance if he was born with FAS or Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. I'm wondering if anyone is more knowledgeable of who he was and if he perhaps discussed it?

...Did Johnny call himself that and not John Lydon? We're you watching it off Johnny? I've heard of that episode but never saw it. it's sort of famous. Is all 1/2 hour or so (I presume) up?

He was referred to as Johnny Rotten both by the host as well as the placard in front of him. Yes, that's the reason I started watching the show in the first place. I refer to him as "Johnny Rotten" when it's related to the Pistols era and as John Lydon post-pistols.

I've watched quite a few interviews featuring him and the Juke Box Jury episode was ok, but he was pretty subdued. He did get into a short argument with the Alan Freeman fellow though.

There is no mention of FAS in any of his on-line biographies.
