A house we moved into when I was little had a toolshed in the backyard. I liked using the toolshed as a play house. We never used it to store tools.

About a quarter-mile down the tracks, there was an old equipment shed, with old ploughs, hay-rakes, trailers, and other draw-behinds. It reeked of mulch, mold, and machine oil. I used to enjoy crawling through it and finding old coins and hand-tools.

Then one night, some local kids set fire to the place, and burned about 25 acres of summer wheat. There's a subdivision on that site now.

They are my natural habitat, being a tool and all.

When my parents 1st moved to the lot they live now, my dad built a very small house that he turned into a tool shed after he had built a much bigger house on the same lot. He works in construction. The shed is falling apart nowadays cuz of termite damage & not really maintaining it. It's soo full of tools that dad can barely walk in their to get what he needs.

Yes. It was full of my grandad's carpentry tools and I used to like tightening up vices and hammering nails.
After I discovered spiders lived there it kind of lost its appeal.
