Personally I think that members of the human race weren't really cut out for ruling over each other.
Just too imperfect really, with the temptation of abusing their power and influence just being too strong for most, if not all people.

And you would be surprised how many people would crave into abusing their authority, and breaking their own morals, even morals that they are in the job of preaching to the world... Seriously you would be shocked...
but that's another story. I guess when it comes to resisting the temptation of those in power, who have masses of wealth and influence over the world, it is hard to keep ones morals while thinking all the ways one could exploit their new powerful friends. So what if it meant breaking your moral code just this once, but once broken, hard not to be tempted again... bit like the first time breaks the law or uses illegal drugs. big taboo the first time, so easy the second, and before you know it, it all becomes a trend.

But hey this is the way of man, not so heavenly, more heathenly if there is such a word.
But hey, were only human, etc. and all those other excuses that make being a real douche to our victims so much easier....

Nonetheless, i wouldn't like to see any single man or woman in power as a world president.
Instead, i personally would like to see a world unified by numbers, where ideally all inhabitants of the world can vote on what ever they want. perhaps with a complex cloud computing system to take track. If one can be created that can't be hacked.

It's that or some form of super powerful and compassionate AI super computer.
that holds no prejudice towards any one, no matter race, creed or appearance.
Then the world can have peace and ultimate efficiency without bigotry
with the resources of the world being used efficiency and less people have to suffer
because of human selfishness, abuse of given authority and other criminal activities.
