Can you give me some reasons why I should not be jealous of those on the spectrum who can mask there autism much better than I can?

Because it makes more sense to be, jealous of neurotypical, because they don't have to :skull: mask :skull: at all

Jealousy is just out of proportion

Think more about the Maslow's hierarchy of needs

Please do not waste too much time and energy on jealous

It is not productive to feel jealous

You don't know how the autistics feel about their masking. They may feel like they have to be on guard all the time about not screwing up & letting others see their autism. They may feel very stressed out like they're ready to breakdown but feel they cant because their life &/or relationships might go to pieces.

Because you could be spending more time and effort on learning how to mask your own autism, instead of feeling sorry for yourself.

Because it won't help you in any way.

I get jealous of women who are prettier than me and get more attention from everybody - more so if the woman is weird, awkward, eccentric, mentally ill, etc.

I used to be jealous of this girl at work because she could be an annoying little s**t with the maturity of a 14-year-old, and had serious mental issues and lacked certain social skills (not in an Aspie way, as she wasn't on the spectrum), and if she was in one of her bad moods she'd speak to you like a piece of s**t. In other words she was neurotic and had no respect for herself or for others. Despite that, everyone loved her. Well, nearly everyone. Guys fancied her, other girls wanted to be her friend, and it just made me feel like a spare part. I didn't know what her secret was, but I was jealous of her.
Anyway she got fired last week for illegal drug-related issues, but I have a feeling people haven't lost respect for her, although I certainly have. But I am glad she is gone, because now I don't have an attractive girl to compare myself to (now I'm the only female in my department). I just hope they don't employ a new attractive loud-mouth girl that mysteriously attracts everybody.

To add to my post:-

I know somebody's going to point out that the others are attracted to her because she's attractive. But what I meant was she's no more attractive than me.
