I just split my toenail on my big toe. I went to kick a football without any shoes on. I don't want it to split further, so I had an idea. Superglue! The problem was I had to open a new packet of cheap superglue (I use it for my trains as it is the recomended bonding agent for resin which some of the kits are made from) which involved suspending my foot in the air whilw looking for a suitable tiny drill bit but couldn't see my minidrill... Why? To open the tiny hole in the nozzle up of the glue as it was a new packet. The old plastic superglue bottle had run out of glue.
I used small modellers pliers to hold the drill bit and managed to open the glue that way. I had to be careful I didn't glue my nail to my skin, and I had to open up the crack to allow somw of the thin runny glue to go into it, and it has worked. :) My nail is in one piece. :)
