Does anyone else think Simon from the kids' game Simon Says is a bossy boots? You don't have to do what the generic narrator says but you have to do everything Simon says... Who put Simon in charge anyway? Who was this Simon? When did this tradition begin?

(Yes I'm overthinking it. I love overthinking stuff)

I always enjoyed playing the Simon in Simon Says. You're in total control of the other kids and they have to do what you say as long as you say "Simon says". And if you don't say Simon says and they do it anyway they lose and it's their own fault for being too impulsive. Being the Simon in the game is the best for us sadistic control freaks! Muhahahaha!!

But I don't care much for that electronic game Simon. It always starts off so easy but then it quickly gets impossible to remember the patterns and you always lose. And I hate the "razz" sound it made when you screwed up.

That was an annoying game! I hated that awful "razzing" sound.

I didn't like being Simon that much cuz I couldn't quickly think of what to have them do & it was hard to decide if I should say Simon or not each time. I also didn't like being the one who everyone had to hear speak. Having OCD & anxiety/shyness may make some not wanna be Simon.

I liked that Hasbro Simon game at 1st but it got frustrating very fast. The razzing sound didn't bother me much thou. I was more annoyed with myself for screwing up. I wonder if anyone became addicted/caught up in playing it like on American Dad
