How much do you stay in touch with your parents?

Well, for me, I talk to them everyday because they're relatively worried about me a lot more than other people's parents. Sometimes it can be annoying, but I try to limit the amount of phone calls with them to 1 or 2 per day.

I usually see my dad once a week when he takes me grocery shopping. I see my mom once a week, where we go shopping and out to eat. But I don't see or talk to them *every* day. I find other things to do and look after other responsibilities.

Only my father is still alive . He has lived in the USA since 1981. First through working for the Foreign office , and then deciding to stay there when his posting ended.

He comes over to the UK about once a year. We talk infrequently on the phone. We're both on Facebook , but don't respond much to each other.

Once a week

My mother lives locally but I haven't lived with her since the 1980s.
I have selective mutism and don't speak much even when I see her, unfortunately. I'm getting a little better though.

She doesn't use computers or text, so we don't communicate electronically at all.

I speak to my mother about once a week on the phone. We also email and text each other.

My father is not around. He passed away last year.

I have not spoken or seen my dad since he died just over a decade ago.
I do see my Mum often as I live with her.

My mom passed away in 2011.

I talk to my dad every day.

My Mom died about a year and a half ago. My Dad lives near us. I talk to him every other day or so.

I call my parents 1ce or 2wice a week but I don't say much. I never had a close relationship with them & me & my mom had lots of fights till I moved out. I don't think I have selective mutism but I'm pretty quiet with everyone.
Me & my mom do email but my parents don't do text. I really wish they would cuz it would come in handy when either me or them is traveling.

My father i will normally see about twice a year.
My mother i normally see her every 2-3 weeks when i remember to go over and show my face. shes in constant contact with us though (through my partner)
