I have not seen Pears soap for a while, but I like it.

None. For the last few days I've had some soap series from New Zealand playing on BBC1 in the afternoons, but it's just as background noise really - it looks pretty awful. I used to quite like Coronation Street until about 8 years ago, didn't like the 'modern' characters and storylines they were bringing in. My fave soap of all time was Brookside, but that finished in about 2003, I think.

Umm. I was more thinking along the lines of Imperial Leather, Fairy, Pears, Dettol... Soaps! Haha.

Ok, TV soaps will do...

Doc Bronners liquid soaps. I've been using them for 29 years. I make my own toothpaste with it as an ingredient too. It's the only kind I use.

Ivory, because it's unscented.

When I was a boy an old Irish priest at our church used to have a certain smell. When he would distribute Communion, the Communion would end up smelling like his hands. The smell was not offensive to me as a child and the smell imprinted so strongly on me that I never forgot that smell and never smelled it again until 30 years later when I had a special interest of shaving with straight razors and using mugs and brushes. On a recommendation from one of the people on a shaving forum I was a member of, I purchased a cake of Mitchell's Wool Fat soap. Eureka. That was the smell; that was the soap that that priest used every day. I recognized the smell instantly thirty years later.

Fels-Naptha bar laundry soap. It's strong and cleans clothes and costs ninety-eight cents a bar. I also like Williams' Shaving Soap, because you can use it for shampoo if you have to and it only costs a dollar or two for a bar.

I like soap that has tea tree oil. It helps with fungal infections and acne. I also like Pears soap. I like the smell of Pears soap.

River City is best UK soap. They ought to broadcast it in England. It's like a soap only broadcasts at 9pm for one hour once a week so no (ok few) filler stories or worrying about offending the kids.

I wasn't sure at first if the OP meant real soap or soap operas. Soap operas got their names because they were originally sponsored by soap companies. But now the shows really do need soap because they've gotten so dirty.

There's this store brand Mandarin orange liquid hand soap that I like because it smells like orange-flavored candy and it's already foamy when you pump it out so it makes hand washing easier. :)

Soaps that I would like...?

Does.. Does menthol soap exists? Even better if it's anti-bacterial.
I don't mind most scents, but I would like it better in milder ranges of scents.

No longer produced in the UK, it seems, but still available in some parts of the world.
