Quantum Computing Breakthrough
Google announced a quantum computing breakthrough achieving a major milestone called supremacy.
Typical data fragments, known as bits, which store information in computers, can do so as a 0 or 1. However, a quantum bit can be both 0 and 1 simultaneously, thus allowing an exponentially higher number of calculations to be performed.
The phrase "quantum supremacy" simply means that Google scientists have been able to use a quantum computer to solve a problem that would take an inordinately long time to solve with a normal computer. Imagine a system that could execute a calcuation in 200 seconds that it would take the world's fastest supercomputer 10,000 years to handle.

What caught my attention is the difference between normal computing and quantum computing. An analogy is the difference between the brain structure of NTs and Aspies. Aspie brains have more neural interconnects. So the difference between an NT and Aspie is similar to the difference between a normal computer operating using 1's and 0's and a quantum computer, a spectrum of states.
Aspies tend to see things in black and white (1's and 0's) whereas NTs view the world in many shades of gray. So I wonder if an NTs brain operates like a quantum computer.

Upon considering this and what you have written in the
last paragraph here : this seems somewhat contradictory . With more neural connects , one mighht consider that a higher performing logical brain process.
The back and white of this is a more direct reference to what the exact issue presented . Whereas various shades of grey might be less precise.

As a male Aspie, I do tend to think in terms of 0's and 1's. That is why computer programming comes natural to me. I will sometimes find myself rewriting code without even knowing the computer language it is written in.
I like the exact nature of things. For example, I like knowing that
9,999,999,999,999,999 x 9,999,999,999,999,999 = 99,999,999,999,999,980,000,000,000,000,001
Back in my day, they had slide rules. I never really liked slide rules. They only provided an approximation, not exact numbers. But it does take more time and computational effort to derive exact answers.
Maybe that is why many NTs are like sheep, they follow the herd. It takes little effort, computationally, to follow what everyone else is doing than to strike off on your own. It also might explain why Aspies are a little slower at times. Our minds have to work much harder in seeking the answer, the exact answer.
