On my United Republic of Antarctica, Federal Police government website...
I posted a pumpkin shaped icon.

When you click on the pumpkin...
It brings you to a list of Halloween laws in Antarctica.

And there is a logo at the top...
It's a big Pumpkin, with handcuffs and a judges gavel carved into it.

It says... "Over 12, Under Arrest".


The text below it says..

Just the same as persons age 13 and older are legally prohibited from the following facilities.

-Public Playgrounds.
-Chuck E Cheese's.
-Child Daycare facilities and Pre Schools.
-Kindergarten and Elementary Schools.
-School busses with children age 12 and younger present.

Persons age 13 and older are also prohibited from Trick Or Treating.

The penalties for Trick Or Treating age 13 or older is a fine not to exceed $1,000 and not not more than 10 days Juvenile Disciplinary Lockup Camp (JDLC).

These laws are designed to:

-Force more mature Halloween and other activities onto teenagers, to promote "growing up" and more Grown up behavior.

-Keep Children safe, by protecting them against teenagers who may often view children, not as children, but as "ret*ds" because of poor judgment and possibly poor quality of upbringing.

-To promote a distinction between what is a child, and what is an adolescent.

- To safeguard Halloween as a children's holiday festivity.

I think it's stupid and unfair to not let kids 13 and over trick-or-treat. I'm so glad we didn't have that age limit where I live. Growing up sucks.

And I don't think the penguins in Antarctica have much candy to hand out on Halloween.

Hmm...

1. No Trick-Or-Treaters over the age of 12.

2. No left-over candy from previous holidays (i.e., jelly beans, candy canes, et cetera).

3. No active lawn sprinklers from dusk to 22:00 (10:00 pm).

4. Blowing up someone else's Jack O'Lantern is prohibited.

5. If the porch light is off, stay away.

6. Lawn decorations are to be looked at, not touched (and certainly not stolen).
