What does your mom say?

My parents don’t think that I’d be able to handle it. I think they want me dependent on them.

Mine is to stop and wait for clarification before saying things. (It's frustrating that all of my parents' pieces of advice whenever I start a new job are variations on "Shut your trap," but in this specific case, they're right.)

My resolution is to not be completely dependent on my parents by the end of the year, by getting my own place and/or getting a job.

Think with purpose and not just long-winding randomness.

I.E. Choose what to think about, don't just let your thoughts take you any which way uncontrolled.

All the people whose good qualities I admire, are proficient in this aspect--even if I don't like them otherwise. Then they stay on task, get important tasks done, organized mind , organized life. Everything proper.
