I can understand the negative feelings of people from other countries, especially the USA. About Israel, and about the unfair government / military actions, and the whole situation which appears to be unfair, of course.
Living in Israel myself, and having excellent English. Was a good thing, allowed me to communicate with people from around the world, especially Americans. I'm glad I learned good English, to the extent sometimes people would never know I was from Israel if I didnt write it in my Location info.
But generally, the negative feelings you might have about the Israeli situation. Keep in mind, normal people who live in this country don't have anything to do with what's going on. I will admit, that I do almost all normal daily activities that all Americans in the USA do. Things like Eat, Sleep, go to work and do laundry. I do all that, the same way Americans do it overseas.
I dont decide what the military here does, or what the government does. Some people in the past, have accused me of causing all the problems and the war with Arabs, but I have nothing to do with it.
Even more than that - just for your knowledge, I havent killed anyone during my military service. I had a weapon, but I never used it. Simple as that.
What I am curious about is why does some people, automatically blame civilians for what's happening. You gotta understand the big picture, to find out who you need to blame, who is responsible, etc.
Thank you.
