Hello, I don't know anyone personally who has been diagnosed with anything similar to me, and so I wanted to start an area to sort of share our experiences.
For me, gosh. So many to pick from. Ummmm. Oh, when I was in elementary school I used to get pulled out of class to go to, well I don't know what it was called but I called it the Sensory Room. It had like everything that I loved stimulation wise. It was honestly my favorite place. I got over stimulated in class one day so my teacher me to go outside of the class to calm down, and when I asked where, she said where ever. I took that quite literally and marched over to the Sensory Room, barged in and curled up in the corner with a weighted blanket covering all of me. They couldn't find me for a good hour and a half, until I scared the crap out of a teacher coming to grab something from the room. I honestly still feel proud of that for some reason.
