Me too.

As I've witnessed rebuilding an economy from ruins, I'm not afraid of this, we can do it again.
I'm much more afraid of some... "solution to all their financial problems", as Tw1ggy named it.

War breaking out over this fiasco certainly is a possibility.

True, though I think that it's unlikely. Some unrest and rebellions, sure, that might happen, but war? Hmm, well, perhaps a civil war in some of the countries that end up suffering the most, be it the economy or the people. Unless the production of food goes down in several countries; then those places might start attacking and invading others.

This is a new virus for humans, so our bodies aren't programmed to recognize and attack these enemy germs when they invade. It takes time for the body's systems to recognize and then deal with such an unknown enemy.

To further complicate things, this germ doesn't make you show symptoms for longer than the influenza, before you do start to get sick, so you are contagious longer before you know to stay away from other people.

Also, this germ continues making you contagious for up to 5 weeks after you feel well, so again, you can be spreading it to others when you think you are already done with it.

Nice, huh?

It's been reported that it affects your breathing and your kidneys.
Even those with no pre existing conditions died from it.

Its probably worse. It affects you for life afterwards, kidneys permanently damaged ect.

I'm interested in how many people die who did not have other serious problems before COVID19 showed up, vs. people who did. Dying *from* COVID19 is not the same as dying *with* it.

Anyone have a link to (recent) stats on that?

Something like this?
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-53073046
It compares overall deaths during the pandemics to expected number of deaths in that time for a number of countries.

I got an email from a doctor friend who said some of his doctor friends are in intensive care because of it.
Doctors aren't easily replaced. It takes a lot of training to become a doctor.

Yes, hospital beds are, ventilators are, but doctors are not.
