Is Lysol spray works better than Clorox wipes? I know you should clean off food that are in bags & packages like frozen meals?

Either works fine. Food packages if left alone will self sanitize themselves from the virus if left alone for 3 days, with the exception of frozen food packages. The virus can survive freezing temperatures for up to 2 years so you should wipe those packages down.

I hate using Lysol. I can't stand the smell, the fumes makes me choke and I hate the fear-mongering in the TV ads. I hate the smell of bleach, too. In fact, the products used to kill germs are possibly some of the most toxic man-made substances in the world and cause all kinds of cancer and other diseases.

But I don't trust the effectiveness or safety of "green" products.

Lysol is better on metallic surfaces than Clorox, which will corrode most ordinary metals (even stainless steel).

Obviously, I can't spray Lysol or use bleach on my food. But how do I know some idiot didn't lick it before I bought it and the stressed out workers at the store didn't notice and throw it away? Also, washing the food first is not likely going to get rid of the virus.

Oh well, going for weeks at a time without food isn't likely going to kill me as long as I can stay hydrated. It will just feel like a slow, miserable death.

Lemon Lysol doesn’t bother me.
Since I have multiple pets that occasionally puke up something nasty or roll in God knows what I always have it on hand.
Cooking food kills the virus.
