I`m not saying all people are bad -- both aspies and non - aspies -- but rather I found that bad encounters that I often received by people have often been by NTs and I often can`t forget those bad times no matter how hard I try . I do see the good in most people but I often dread the next bad encounter that I might eventually get ; those fight or flight emotions are wayy to overwhelming for me to bear . I hate rudeness

If you go by the dictionary definition of a misanthrope being "one who hates or mistrusts humankind", then you'll find that most of us aspies seem to be misanthropic to some degree. Personally, I love humanity -- it's people I can't stand.

If being a misanthrope is wrong, then I don't want to be right.

I can't understand why most people aren't misanthropes. Every day we see human society and behavior at its absolute worst and all too often we're treated like garbage by other humans.

"They" think it doesn't make sense to hate human beings when you are one yourself, but that doesn't change how I feel. Neither does the rare occasion someone does something good for a change, either. Besides, I hate myself and hate being reminded that I'm human.

People are sh***y people including me and everyone else in this thread.

It's reasonable to feel misanthropic at times, but one should also bear in mind that they're part of the problem too. None of us are special in this regard; all of us can be selfish and difficult. If you can forgive your own failings enough to tolerate them you can do it for others as well. Don't ever let your misanthropy convince you that you're better than (other) people.

Just a reminder: under international law, an occupying power has no right of self-defense, and those who are occupied have the right and duty to liberate themselves by any means possible.
