Is it just me or do some songs put you in a certain mood? Is it you are what you listen to?

I don't know if you really are what you listen to. I'm not serious enough to be brutal death metal.

Than again, I am as bitter, cynical, nihilistic, intense and brief as grindcore.

I notice this too. I think it's combination of me & what I listen to. I listen to a variety of music & sometimes I wanna hear certain music cuz I'm in a certain mood but I also listen to music to influence my mood.

"Mood" is not the same thing as "personality".

Obviously music is all about "mood". That's just stating the obvious.
