I have quite a visual mind, and as today I have had anxiety, I needed this...

I went to get little a microwaveable meal. I went to read the instructions. It said:

"Pearce film lid".
"Put in microwave pierced side up..."

Laugh! I was in histerics to think that someone somewhere had put their meal in the microwave pierced side down for them to need to have written that in the instructions!
(I know that it is not nice to laugh at other peoples missfortunes, but the thought that someone somewhere has done this... It made me chuckle!)

What made you laugh today?

Ah, don't feel guilty about laughing at something like that. I think most people might find that funny.

I gave my pet rats a bit of strawberry jam to lick, and afterwards one of them had jam on his nose and it made it look funny because he looked like Rupolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. I laughed at him, poor thing.

Pets are funny!

Films... It goes to show how much work is involved in making the films. It is always a risk as you never know if they will pay for themselves or not.

^ Yeah: and no-one wants to be held responsible for losing the backers money, hence amusing excuses.
I think my favourite one was “everyone was playing Halo that year”

Years ago we were all working in moms garden in the front yard. And her callico cat named Lucy, was sticking her nose into what were doing. A flower broke off its its stem and landed on the cat's chest pedal side out and just stuck there. So the cat kept on walked around and "supervising" us while this flower bigger than her face was stuck to her chest. So we all laughed about how "Lucy's wearing a corsage" (like the cat was going to the prom or something).

There are people out there who believed that microwaving your phone would charge it, nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to the vastness of human stupidity. I'm more surprised that there aren't absurdly many noob instructions for everything out there, including how to open a door.

Uhmmm. I got myself stuck in a toilet of a train as I couldn't get the door open. I was going up to the job interview to work on the trains. I did not tell them at the interview as I thought it safer not to. :P

The jerk who likes to park his shiny new truck so that it makes getting into and out of my driveway difficult ... I saw the repo man towing away the jerk's shiny new truck.

 Ahh ... schadenfreude ...

The odd and unusual have always stuck out to me, and usually makes me chuckle. I can be oblivious and never notice when something is nice or normal, but as soon as it's different it jumps out at me. I have an unusual sense of humour too, preferring bluntness and absurdities - fav is Louis CK.
I am never trying to make fun of people, but the odd makes me alert to what's around me and it's usually a good feeling. Surprise, so I feel more involved. Hope that makes sense.

This thread should be booming! Let's get laughing! The other day I stepped on a plastic bag in my kitchen and a cat somewhere outdoors choose that exact moment to yowl like I had actually stepped on it's tale and not the bag. I heard that Napoleon was once hunting rabbits so rabbits had been brought for him to hunt but there all charged him because they thought he had food.He ran to he carriage for safety and was still tossing the remaining rabbits on him out the carriage window as he and the carriage escaped.

Last night I watched a video of two cats that would ring a bell for a treat. And they were wearing hats shaped like Mandarin oranges for some reason. There was a whole series of videos like this and in each one the cats wore hats shaped like a different kind of fruit. Bananas, strawberries, watermelon... too adorable.

I watch Japanese YouTube quite a bit, even though I have no idea what they are saying lots of time. Many are cute, naive, soothing in some ways. Interesting products, multipurpose furniture, tiny spaces, soft voices, ritualistic behaviours. Plus I find the culture very interesting historically.

My funny son made me laugh. I bought him a small blue fan after the elder broke his first one (he has an obsession with fans).

He was so happy n carrying it around the way as he walked about the house , as children usually do with teddy bears. I found it hilarious
