Flames Shooting 30 Feet into the Sky

Well with a big storm coming, it was time to burn a shrub pile. It was just getting too big. For the past year, branches and logs have been washing downstream into our bridge. We pull the large ones out with the Gator. So today we lit the pile and it set flames 30 feet roaring into the sky.



Hours later we took down some polish sausage and potatoes and cooked it in the ashes for supper. It is one of the joys of living in the country. Sometimes the grandkids visit and we roast marshmallows over the hot coals.
