I don't know if they're considered tacky but I love them and they're an integral part of my childhood / current life.

I can't sit on normal chairs. I'm either sat on the floor or upside down sprawling on a bean bag.

Any room. Why not? Just be careful that they are puncture proof. (Learned the hard way).

When did they become tacky?

I don't know anyone that wouldn't react with glee if they found a beanbag chair in someone's livingroom.

Well, maybe not people with bad backs.

Are bean bags considered tacky??? I haven't seen one of those in years, but I didn't know people thought they were tacky... I think they're comfortable and would personally get one, but that's not because of anything relating to me being autistic.
