I am the last person you would want cooking advice from unless you like your duck charred and inedible.

Roast in a covered pan at 375°F until a thermometer inserted into the meatiest part registers at least 160°F.  Then roast uncovered for 15 minutes or until the skin turns a golden brown.

I'm confused, are you supposed to eat the rest of the duck raw?

Raw?  If the meatiest part (usually the breast or inner thigh) is cooked to 160°F, then the rest of the bird will likely be more well-cooked (having thinner meat, and thus less insulation).

The directions talk about duck legs, not a whole duck.

This is how my family cooks chicken and it works. I can't imagine duck would be massively different. When we cook pieces of chicken (legs, breasts, etc.) it usually takes around an hour or a bit more overall for it to be cooked so the timing seems to match this.

WHAT directions?  If you mean the broken-link image in the OP, then I am not receiving it.

And if there are directions, why doesn't the OP just follow them?!

Yeah, it's not broken at my end:

To Oven Cook:

Preheat overn to 200°C / Fan 180°C, Gas Mark 6

Remove all packaging, setting aside the sauce sachet. Place the duck legs onto the tray provided and place in the centre of a preheated overn for 30 mins. Separate the duck legs and place back into the tray, skin side up, for 30 mins. Remove from oven and discard the cooking juices. Pour the sauce sachet over the duck legs and cook for 10 min.

It's 70 min but I still said order a pizza - better that than get salmonella from the rest of the duck.

The reason I posted this is because I thought the instructions were ambiguous. I had to ask for help but I cooked it the right way as it tasted fine , I just wondered how others on the spectrum would interpret the instructions. I realise that my own instructions for this thread were less than clear  The product was frozen duck legs and the box looked like this

TY, I already feel much better for your safety - it's only legs.
