"Don't eat with food in your mouth".

I think what they mean is not to stuff more food in your mouth until you've properly chewed and swallowed the mouthful you already have.

Not to do with behaviour, but I was once told by my gran that the devil drinks the water that goes down the drain.

Hobgoblins come out after midnight.
A giggling girl and a crowing hen will always come to some bad end.
