They say that carrots help you see in the dark. Does this work?

Carrots contain vitamin A which is supposed to help eyesight. But unlike potatoes carrots dont have eyes. So all of their vitamin A cant help they themselves to see, day or night.

In an old black and white movie of my parents' day of the Thirties ( Nick and Nora, or the Thin Man or like that) a guy quipped that he wouldnt eat carrots, and "if I wanted to see in the dark I would eat what cats eat. Mice!".

Carrots contain large amounts of a substance that is good for vision, but it won't give you night-vision, heat-vision, or X-ray vision.

Carrots turned me into what we all know as superboyian. Unfortunately, he lacks great vision.
