What do you do?
Never felt panic about it.
At worst I'd be worried about those I hold dear working at the frontlines. But I wouldn't, because I believe in them.
It's the huge and whole change that made me happy.
I stretch time out as long as my mind allows me to than wish that time would just burn away.
And trying to find what's going on with me... This is the opportunity I need to understand my personal inconsistencies.
So sure I'm waiting for any more change, but I won't be so anxious in either ways.

go outside and get that heart rate up.
easier in the sticks than in the city, yes i'll acknowledge
but viruses hate UV light, and exercising is a lot better for your immune system than staying inside worrying.
that's what i do. haven't prayed in years, and never in english. ![]()

I'm not super concerned about possibly catching the virus. I do have a lot of problems with my body but they are mostly chronic disabilities instead of things that would make me more susceptible to getting sick or flare up & get worse when I do. When my girlfriend gets sick, she'll be rundown for at least a week, then majorly sick for at least a week, & then at least another week after where she's rundown. Whereas when I get sick(sometimes around the time Cass is sick), I suddenly feel really bad & get a fever but I'm completely fine a couple days later. Cass will be sick for a month & I'll be sick for no more than 3 days. I do take multi-vitamins & a gram & a half of extended release vitamin C supplements every day so maybe that's some of it. I did get sick a bit when I was in school but I suspect a lot of it was stress from going to school; I struggled with LOTS of school stuff.
I know most others will NOT like this but me & Cass think a lot of the COVID deaths are really due to the medical industry majorly s#cking. Cass had a TON of bad experiences related to the hospital or docs in general. She also had a couple relatives die last year due to screwups at the hospital. She could write a series of novels about all the bad experiences her & her family had with the medical industry. I shouldn't say anymore cuz it'll be a LONG rant so I'll move on. Most of the COVID deaths we hear about are people who died at the hospital. Hospitals are majorly overwhelmed & patients are not allowed to have visitors rite now. As a result patients are not getting the care & attention they need & the patients have no one there advocate for them & the patients ofcorse have a hard time advocating for themselves due to them being ill. People can make mistakes & be negligent when overworked. Cass has herself experienced the docs & nurses not giving her the rite meds or dosage for her routine conditions when she was in the hospital. Thankfully she was paying attention & called em on it. One of her relatives had asthma & he wasn't getting his inhaler when he should of while he was in the hospital last year. People with breathing problems related to COVID or otherwise can literally die as a result of them not having access to their inhalers. People are also much more likely to catch COVID while they are in the hospital if they didn't have it when they went in. It's quite possible that some or maybe even alot of the deaths in the hospitals could of been prevented & they get written as being caused by COVID or related to complications with COVID. You can NOT trust anyone to hold themselves accountable for their own mistakes or negligence when they cause death but very unfortunately with no visitors around the hospitals have no accountability rite now.
Instead of worrying about catching the virus, me & Cass are majorly worried about the way others are reacting to the virus. People in some areas have a bunch of government restrictions on their ability to leave their homes. Only certain businesses are allowed to be open, curfews, masks requirements, buses not picking up passengers or throwing them off cuz the driver thought they showed signs of the virus. & anybody who speaks out about having problems with this, is verbally attacked(or attacked online) by a giant gang of people who accuse the brave person expressing themselves of being selfish at best. Wearing masks can aggravate breathing problems like asthma. Cass read a story online(maybe facebook but not sure) about someone who died because he was wearing a mask while ridding his bike. The media won't cover stories like that & instead focus on the seniors or people in poor health who die at the hospital cuz they "caught the virus". Cass has asthma & wearing a mask really does make it harder for her to breath & her asthma can cause her to cough & coughing can get people kicked out of places. She also has bad acid reflux that can cause her to cough. She's been having problems with coughing for a long time & due to that along with bad anxiety problems that can aggravate her asthma & make her more likely to cough, she's majorly worried about others judging her when she goes out. We're forced to rely on her family to bring us places now cuz we don't want to risk being thrown off a bus for coughing or sneezing 1ce due to allergies or we may not be allowed on the bus cuz the driver doesn't want many people on at a time. Bringing us places is a major inconvenience for her family but we have no choice.
I'm not sure what can be done about any of this. I'm feeling anger, frustration, & hopelessness instead of panic. Like someone else said, distracting yourself may help. Try to focus on things you enjoy & tune the news out some. It's good to be informed about things but the media, social media, & politicians can feed mass hysteria. It's also good to try & get good quality sleep if you can. There are various supplements that might help with sleep, stress, or anxiety. I cant vouch for any thou. If you feel like the anxiety & panic is majorly getting to you, you could try getting psych help. I know I b!tched about the medical industry but I've had some luck with some psych meds but I've had better luck after I analyzed my issues a lot & did a bit of research on meds to treat em. If you've been getting psych help already, you could see if your therapist or psychologist will do a telehealth appointment or phonecall one thou it may be a lot harder to start seeing any psychs who are new to you rite now.
