I cant be the only one that misreads thread titles whilst looking down the list 'view posts since last visit' and think to myself what on earth?

Sometimes my misreading makes me laugh

Latest one a few moments age (and Im not sure why)

Haha. Well I replied to a thread on masks assuming it was to do with masking. I didn't really have an answer so I said so, so it did not look out of place. Phew! I was going to write an answer more appropiate, but after writing a very long reply, I thoughht "No one's going to read this!" So I didn't post my reply.

Weve had this topic before. In fact two of the threads are listed at the bottom of the page under "related topics".
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I have seen titles like this:"Aba Therapy. Does It Work?"

And thought : "Well...probably only if you're 17. And are a dancing queen!"

"Miss Read's Thread Titles"

Miss Read was the pseudonym of an English novelist, who was by profession a schoolmistress.  She is best known for two series of novels set in the British countryside -- the Fairacre novels and the Thrush Green novels.

In the UK they were reissued by Penguin in multiple printings sometime in the 80s (orange spine era), so they float around the charity shop circuit in twos and threes.
