A guy who says offensive things and decides whether he was joking based on the reaction of people around him.
Watch out, Susie! That guy is Schrödinger's Douchebag, he’ll trap you in a thought-experiment without your consent!
I feel like we've all encountered this type of person before. Potentially even on this website. What is it that makes people feel entitled to act like this?

Just a reminder: under international law, an occupying power has no right of self-defense, and those who are occupied have the right and duty to liberate themselves by any means possible.
It takes two to tango drama.
The poster is half of the whole, the reader is also half of the whole.
It seems logically to blame the poster, yes? For making the reader lead towards the poster that did it in the first place.
Knowing the nature of several autistics' loose traction of thought and intense emotions, and it's vulnerabilities to anxieties, not to mention so much lack of fulfillments and the ever alarms of vigilance in life...
It is possible for each remarks can tend to be over thought, over felt and recursively.
As if, they're are but pinballs made of thoughts and emotions.
Each mistakes. Each criticisms. Each remarks. Each post. Each thoughts. Each memories of it. Each unintentionalities.
And each hypothetical scenarios.
That includes feelings. Urge to be right. Urge to express. Urge to be understood or understand.
Predictable. Gullible. Most humans do, it's just autistics are more prone to said thought loops and traps.
No wonder some cases ends up in a shutdown or some overheat like failure as soon as depression hits, that causes one to lose their once absorbent and reliable memories, decode and recall in long term.
Or worse.
Few ended up stronger or finer or wiser, but clearly not everyone.

So it's like recon for future actions with built-in plausible deniability?
I'd agree that some of this time this seems to be the case, but there's plenty of people who act like this so consistently that it's part of what they're known for, in which case it doesn't seem to accomplish that goal unless it's always intentional and they're always planning to do it more with practically everyone.
For those people is just f*****g with you the only joke they know and being a clown the only role they know?

^ Yes, it could be that is the only role they know. We have limited communication skills and some are more limited than others. So, I behave like X, and sometimes people laugh and I get reinforcement because people have laughed at my joke.
Other times people are angry, so I back off with a "I was just joking."
The "I" here is editorial. But speaking from personal experience, people almost never get my jokes and sometimes people are offended by something I have said and I have no idea why or even what I said.
Maybe there is something to be learned here. For me, I mean.
